A method statement is about listing all your expected activities from the moment you arrive on site to the time you are complete.

Consider:

Who is control of safety?
Describe the activity.
What tools and equipment are to be used?
Describe how the work will be managed.
How will access be gained to the activity?
What plant and equipment is required?
Step by step description of the work to be done.
What will be done to protect your employees and other people?
What training has been done?
Emergency procedures.
Handling and storage of hazardous substances.
Protecting existing structures.
