Registers and Checklists

Unsafe tools can affect the health and safety of your own workers and others.

They can also cause damage to product and structure, and can cause poor quality delivery.

To help prevent this, a range of registers and checklists are included to assist plant, equipment, tools and electrical tools are in good condition and appropriate for the task to be performed.

Certain items are specifically required to have registers and checklists. e.g. ladders, safety harnesses, trenches.

You can build your own Inspections and checklists.

When creating a new inspection, add a row item, and select:

Heading - changes colour, no value blocks

Yes or no - will give a Yes and a No block.

Value - for quantities - e.g. how much oil is in the store.

When setting questions, keep the question type constant - a YES result is good, a NO result is bad.  Word the questions accordingly.

Set the inspection period - As required, daily, weekly, monthly.
