Building risk assessments

The program includes a 'Risk Assessment Builder Tool'

This allows you to build your own risk assessment, using one of 500+ pre-added activities.

We suggest you watch the video on how to do this:   www.qsafe.co.za/resources/

Steps:

1. Select NEW

2. Select 'Risk assessment builder'

3. Scroll down the list and mark YES against each line that could be relevant to your activities.

4. Once complete, select the 'View Selected' button - we will now only see the selected activities.

5. Guess the position of each line item - the order in which you want it to appear.

6. Select 'Sort' - adjust your order.

7. Select the 'BUILD' button.

8. Check the contents, edit, add, delete.

The system includes a Risk Assessment Library.

The library contains a wide range of sample risk assessments.

Risks are specific to an activity. If you use a sample risk assessment, take time to check the content and the risk ratings.

Add a row, edit a row, or delete a row.

You can also change the order in which rows appear.

Hazard: means anything that can cause harm.
