Desktop vs Online

Q-Safe is generally sold as a stand-alone product for Windows PC.

It is downloaded as a Application file -  .exe which allows it to load a program onto the computer for the client to use.

The data cannot be shared with another computer.

If information needs to be shared, the only solution it to make the system online, where the data is stored on a remote server, which is accessible by an internet connection.

The online connection required additional resources, so additional costs will apply.

Advantages of the online service:

The system is always backed up.

System updates are easily done.

The information can be accessed from any computer browser.

Documents can be printed or downloaded as a pdf.
